According to Goodchild (2007), VGI features a
specific type of "user-generated content", which
combines three key elements:




Web 2.0 [O’Reilly, 2010]

VGI has metadata. But VGI metadata are dynamic !!
 Data documented by DM4VGI are interoperable.
 Humans and machines can analyze the data
collected by DM4VGI.
 Data collected by Geobrowser along with DM4VGI
can help in the decision making of the government,
researchers, police and citizens.

