Mobilities must take place in one of the partner Universities of the
SUNBEAM project. Mobility flows for students and staff between EU
or between Western Balkans partners are not eligible.

ABOUT SUNBEAM
WHO CAN APPLY
OUR SCHOLARSHIPS
• Students, researchers, academic and administrative staff from
universities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo (as defined
under UNSCR 1244/99), Montenegro, and Serbia who are nationals
of one of these countries.
• Students, researchers, academic and administrative staff from
partner universities in the EU who are nationals of the EU.
DURATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS
Our scholarships cover subsistence costs at the Host University
SUNBEAM is a project within the European Commission Programme
Erasmus Mundus Action 2, Strand 1, Lot 2, Western Balkans – aiming
at promoting institutional cooperation and mobility between EU and
non-EU universities.
SUNBEAM covers scholarships for students, researchers, academic
and administrative staff.
MAIN OBJECTIVES:
• Establishing a platform, for sharing educational paths.
• Exchange of expertise and identification of research areas of
common interest.
• Creation of an adequate scientific background for the
Adriatic-Ionian Macro-region.
Undergraduates
1 SEMESTER - 10 MONTHS
(e.g. accommodation, local transports, food, books, conferences
etc.).
The amount of the scholarships is determined according to the
Masters
1 SEMESTER - 24 MONTHS
Doctorates
6 - 36 MONTHS
Post-Doctorates
6 - 10 MONTHS
Academic and Administrative Staff
mobility type:
€ 1.000/ month for undergraduates and masters
€ 1.500/ month for PhDs
€ 1.800/ month for post-docs
1 - 3 MONTHS
€ 2.500/ month for staff

Scholarships holders at any level will not be required to pay any
fees at the Host Universities.
Exchange students will continue paying their fees at their Home
