GIVE ME A BARGAIN
2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets
among the people, even as there will be false
teachers among you, who will secretly bring in
destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who
bought them, and bring on themselves swift
destruction. 2 And many will follow their
destructive ways, because of whom the way of
truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness
they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a
long time their judgment has not been idle, and
their destruction does not slumber.
Matthew 7:13 " Enter by the narrow gate; for
wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads
to destruction, and there are many who go in by
it. 14 "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is
the way which leads to life, and there are few
who find it.
Ephesians 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit,
just as you were called in one hope of your
calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6
one God and Father of all, who is above all, and
through all, and in you all.
Matthew 16:18 "And I also say to you that you
are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church,
and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against
it.
Colossians 1:18 And He is the head of the body,
the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn
from the dead, that in all things He may have the
preeminence.
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is head of the
wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He
is the Savior of the body.
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all
baptized into one body -- whether Jews or
Greeks, whether slaves or free -- and have all
been made to drink into one Spirit.
Acts 2:47 … And the Lord added to the church
daily those who were being saved.
1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I plead with you,
brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
that you all speak the same thing, and that there
be no divisions among you, but that you be
perfectly joined together in the same mind and in
the same judgment. 11 For it has been declared
to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of
Chloe's household, that there are contentions
among you. 12 Now I say this, that each of you
says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am
of Cephas," or "I am of Christ." 13 Is Christ
divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you
baptized in the name of Paul?
Romans 16:16 … the churches of Christ greet
you.
Ephesians 4:11 And He Himself gave some to be
apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and
some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping
of the saints for the work of ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come
to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of
the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure
of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we
should no longer be children, tossed to and fro
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by
the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of
deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in
love, may grow up in all things into Him who is
the head -- Christ –
Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me,
'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 "Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out
demons in Your name, and done many wonders in
Your name?' 23 "And then I will declare to them,
'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who
practice lawlessness!'
James 2:24 You see then that a man is justified
by works, and not by faith only.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord
Jesus Christ,
Romans 6:17 But God be thanked that though
you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the
heart that form of doctrine to which you were
delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin,
you became slaves of righteousness.
Romans 6:3 Or do you not know that as many of
us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were
baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were
buried with Him through baptism into death, that
just as Christ was raised from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk
in newness of life. 5 For if we have been united
together in the likeness of His death, certainly we
also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with
Him, that the body of sin might be done away
with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7
For he who has died has been freed from sin.
Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will
be saved; but he who does not believe will be
condemned.
Galatians 1:6 I marvel that you are turning away
so soon from Him who called you in the grace of
Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not
another; but there are some who trouble you and
want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if
we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other
gospel to you than what we have preached to
you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said
before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches
any other gospel to you than what you have
received, let him be accursed.
