About Network
Why ITTC take part in this project?
 China is one of the biggest country facing to serious problem of
energy consumption & environmental pollution. Especially in
this year, China aim to achieve the target of energy
conservation and consumption reduction
 ITTC is a biggest and first organization engage in TT, and has
years experience in TT. It is a state level TT organization in
China, so that it has obligation and capabilities for carrying our
this project
 Involved in CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) for several
years.
 Engage in EMC (Energy Management Contract )
What we have done
 A web service has been established
 Realize the connection between TT clear
and ITTC, and can search the items in TT
clear by key words from ITTC web site, and
vice versa.

Suggestions
 It is necessary to find a way to insure all the
information put on this network really exist.
 A committee should be establish for this network
system and set up a suitable operational mechanism
to make it run up smoothly and effectively.
 Improve the system stronger and has more function.
For example, manage the projects, automatically
filters the projects which are time out or sort the
projects in different steps, projects matching
automatically and etc..
 One similar information exchange platform called
IRC (Innovation Relay Centers, www.irc.cordis.lu)
organized by EU could be a reference for this project.

Case 1—— Fuel Cell on City Bus
• Integrating the advanced technology of the
Engineering Center of Energy Saving and
New Energy of Tsinghua University, Coway
invest to set up a company to fulfilled the
state key projects (R&D on fuel cell used on
city bus, R&D on HCNG hybrid and the
construction of Hydrogen Park ) supported
by MOST. Successfully developed a extra
mini electro motion vehicle

Case 2—— AN waste water treatment by
means of nuclear technology
• AN (Acrylonitrile)is an organic compounds,
its waste water causes a serious pollution
along with the discharge
• ITTC now are working on joint R&D with NEI,
Tsinghua University, and has reach a transfer
agreement with a Chinese Chemical Group.

Case 3—— Nonpolluting Paper Pulp
Made by means of Acid
This technology was imported from
an Europe company when it is in
the stage of small test, ITTC
organized many experts from
Tsinghua University and the other
institutes working on joint R&D,
and cooperate with a big paper
making industry to establish a base
for middle test. This technology can
help Chinese paper-making
industry get rid of the serious
pollution problem with the
advantage of low pollution and low
cost.
