Blockwise transfers in CoAP draft-ietf-core-block-04 C. Bormann, Z. Shelby CoRE WG, IETF-81 Quebec City Current Status • Changes in -03 – Enabled block transfer in request and response (BLOCK1, BLOCK2) • Main use case is RPC using POST • Changes in -04 – Editorial improvements • -02 is implemented pretty widely • -03 has a few implementations (BLOCK1) Work Needed • Re-write the draft! • Better names for BLOCK1, BLOCK2? – Haven’t found consensus yet on the names… • Clarify that a 4.13 (Request Entity Too Large)may mean either "truncated" or "do not have resources for blockwise” [Esko Dijk]
