Academic Achievement

Completion of required safety course.

In good standing for on-time graduation.

Completion of one semester of a NATEF-accredited automotive, collision repair/refinish, or M/H truck technology course of study at the secondary level.

Completion of SkillsUSA PDP Levels 1 and 2 (or equivalent).

Minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of C-equivalent.

Minimum GPA in automotive technology classes of B-equivalent .

Recommendations and Endorsement

Completion of the job interview process.

Instructor and/or Advisory Committee recommendation.

Statement of intent to complete the 320-hour internship,

if available.

Resume.

Letter of reference.

Minimum age of 16 by the start date of any employment opportunity.

Possess a valid Operator’s License, in good standing (i.e. clean driving record).

Have access to reliable transportation.

Be able to pass, drug, alcohol and other employment screening requirements.
