Title: gl and PDEs: an algebraic construction of an integrable system
Partial differential equations are crucial to modeling. However, even basic
PDEs are extremely difficult to solve. Integrable systems of PDEs are the exception. With the aid of various machinery, one can construct nice solutions to
entire families of PDEs without diffculty. I use representations of gl , the Z  Z
matrices to construct an integrable hierarchy and find polynomial solutions to
the hierarchy.
