What: The Horner Road Slug Line will divide into
TWO separate lines.
• Old Line – Pentagon, Rosslyn, Crystal City
• New Line – 14th St., 18th Street, Navy Yd.
When: 17 September 2002, Tuesday
Why: The popularity of the Horner Rd line has created
safety concerns and the single line cannot effectively
accommodate all the slugs. Creating a second line at
Horner Rd will increase efficiency and reduce wait
times.
