In Spring 2009, we conducted a survey
among institutes
To investigate on the social dimension of
the crisis
Survey could provide useful information
through, for example, the breakdowns by
income, education, etc…

Request was send to 53 institutes
Ten institutes replied “positively”:
• Half of them already did some analysis of
the existing survey in order to evaluate the
impact of the crisis on households'
financial conditions
• The other half planned to introduce
questions in their surveys that could
capture the social dimension of the
financial crisis
