Consultation with data users
• A committee ‘ Census Publicity
Committee’
especially formed for census publicity and for
consultation with different data users.
• Based on the plan prepared, consultation programsmeetings seminars/ workshops organized .
• Seminars/ workshops at different levels - national
district and sub-district levels for sensitization
purposes are organized
• Different stakeholders
- government/ nongovernment organizations, political organizations,
civil society, community organizations, schools
colleges are invited and involved in the program for
sharing information and getting their feedback.
Coordination with line ministries
• Steering committee formed representing different line
ministries and departments
• Different technical committees and subcommittees
are also constituted
• District census coordination committees are formed
in all districts including government offices, Local
NGOs and stakeholders at district level.
• A committee to deal with the gender and social
inclusion concerns is also formed
