Remain in me, and I will remain in
you. No branch can bear fruit by
itself, it must remain in the vine.
Neither can you bear fruit unless
you remain in me. I am the vine; you
are the branches. If a man remains
in me and I in him, he will bear
much fruit; apart from me you can
do nothing.
John 15: 4-5
I can do everything
through him who gives me
strength.
Philippians 4:13
But by the grace of God I am
what I am, and his grace to
me was not without effect.
No, I worked harder than all
of them – yet not I, but the
grace of God that was with
me.
I Cor. 15:10
Sanctification is God’s
Spirit working in my
life, just as He
worked in the
life of Jesus
_____________
…for it is God who works
in you to will and to act
according to his good
purpose.
Philippians 2:13
To this end I labor,
struggling with all his
energy, which so
powerfully works in me.
Colossians 1:29
Sanctification is the gift of the
Holy Ghost, the fruit of the
Spirit, the grace of the Lord
Jesus Christ, the prepared
inheritance of all who enter in,
the greatest obtainment of faith,
not the attainment of works. It is
divine holiness, not human selfimprovement, nor perfection…
It is God’s great elevator
carrying us up to the higher
chambers of His palace,
without over-laborious
efforts, while others
struggle up the winding
stairs and faint by the way.

The same Holy Spirit
is available to us!
“Peace be with you! As the
Father has sent me, I am
sending you.” And with that he
breathed on them and said,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.”
John 20:21-22
If you then, though you are
evil, know how to give good
gifts to your children, how
much more will your Father in
heaven give the Holy Spirit to
those who ask him!
Luke 11:13
How do we embrace
the Holy Spirit?
And you also were included in
Christ when you heard the word of
truth, the gospel of your salvation.
Having believed, you were marked
in him with a seal, the promised
Holy Spirit, who is a deposit
guaranteeing our inheritance until
the redemption of those who are
God’s possession…
Ephesians 1:13-14
“…you will receive power
when the Holy Spirit
comes on you…”
Acts 1:8
Do not get drunk on wine,
which leads to
debauchery [a messed
up life]. Instead, be filled
with the Spirit.
Ephesians 5:18
