• The UTSA Surplus Property department is committed
to provide the very best of service possible to our highly
valued customers.
• Surplus collects, processes and redistributes
unneeded property generated by the university.
• Surplus disposes of and holds auctions when property
is no longer useful to the university.
• We maintain an effective and fair system of surplus
property control by complying with university, state and
federal regulations.

to Surplus.

• All forms require the Department Head
signature.
• Auditing process requires original forms
with original signatures.
• Forms cannot be Faxed or emailed.
Use Campus mail.
• Forms that are incomplete or contain
errors will be sent back to the
department for correction.

the items that you are looking for.
• We do not always have in-stock what
you are looking for.
• When the item you are looking for
becomes available, we will call you to
set up a viewing appointment.

• Pick-ups and deliveries are free of charge.
• When we make pick-ups from
departments, we offer the chance to make
a copy of the form for your records.
• Very important, make a copy!
• When special circumstances arise
because of new furniture deliveries,
office moves, etc. Call us so we can
accommodate your needs.
