Notes on how to use the VR infrastructure
• Realtime VR presentations can be enhanced using OpenSceneGraph Node Kits
• Non Realtime movie playback for Tholos in Dome Master Mode.
• Both modes can overlay external sources, but with limitations. For realtime you
blend 50%/50% the realtime source with the external one.
• For movie playback you have to stop the movie to get external feed, and
specify where in the movie you want external feed.
• Tholos VR system has realtime and movie playback.
• Kivotos only realtime.
• Virtual Cinema VR system is self contained, any PC with stereoscopic output can
drive it, an is the choice experiments based on advanced HCI controllers
