The Problem
• Pool maintenance is time consuming and easy to
neglect
• There are systems available, but… they are costly
and often are not convenient
• An inexpensive, effective system would make the
lives of pool owners simpler and create more time
for proper leasure
Design Decisions

• Atmel ATmega 644p & Atmel ATmega 328
• ZG2100 – 802.11b wireless interface chip
• Graphic LCD with touch screen overlay
• Electronics: Mechanical Control
• Stepper Motors: 5VDC, Half H-Bridge drivers with step
