colorful way to say
something.

Meaning = very similar

Idioms Presentation
• This presentation is worth 10 points.
• Get into groups of 2-3 people.
• Each student is responsible for presenting at
least 2 idioms. You are more than welcome
to present more than 2.
• After your group has chosen your idioms,
let me (your teacher) know. I want each
group to have different idioms.
Idioms Presentation
• Take the idioms you’ve chosen and create
one group PowerPoint presentation.
• The PowerPoint should show the idiom
AND the actual meaning of the idiom.
• For each idiom, you must use them in a
sentence OR in a conversation.
Conversation is preferred.
• Please include pictures/images.
Idioms Presentation
• Your presentation will be about 5-8
minutes. Don’t go over 10 minutes.
• Every person in your group must present
and must speak during the presentation.
• Be as creative as you like!
• Presentations begin week 4.
• Make sure your group signs-up for a
presentation day.
• Here are some student examples.
