THE ACHIEVEMENT OF
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE CONVENTION
All Parties to the Convention commit themselves to the
provisions of Article 12 (1) … (b) and (c) to the following;
(c) Any other information that the Party considers relevant
to the achievement of the objective of the Convention and
suitable for inclusion in its communication, including, if
feasible, material relevant for calculations of global
emission trends.

41. With a view to facilitating the formulation and
implementation of sustainable development programmes,
non-Annex I Parties are encouraged, as appropriate, to
provide information on any steps they have taken to
integrate climate change considerations into relevant social,
economic and environmental policies and actions in
accordance with Article 4, paragraph 1 (f), of the
Convention.

• COMMITMENTS
•
1. All Parties, taking into account their common but
differentiated responsibilities and their specific national and
regional development priorities, objectives and circumstances,
shall:
• (f) Take climate change considerations into account, to the
extent feasible, in their relevant social, economic and
environmental policies and actions, and employ appropriate
methods, for example impact assessments, formulated and
determined nationally, with a view to minimizing adverse
effects on the economy, on public health and on the quality of
the environment, of projects or measures undertaken by them
to mitigate or adapt to climate change;
