Synthesis In Arriving At Truth
Study and diligence are of the utmost
importance in establishing and maintaining
the essential truth (cp. 2 Tim. 2: 15). Indeed,
truth is indispensable (John 8: 32, 4: 24).
Synthesis In Arriving At Truth
“15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2).
“31: Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed
on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my
disciples indeed; 32: And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free” (John 8).
Synthesis In Arriving At Truth
“Synthesis [sin-thĕ-sis], any compound produced
by uniting two or more elements; or the process of
combining things into one. Synthesis, which brings
elements into combination, is the opposite of
analysis, which breaks something down into its
constituent parts. In philosophical dialectic, the
synthesis is the product of the opposition between
a thesis and its antithesis.”
Synthesis In Arriving At Truth
“Synthesis means putting ideas from many sources
together in one essay or presentation. After reading
several books, watching movies and participating in
a variety of class activities, your task is to organize
some of the information around a theme or a
question, make generalizations, and then present
information (statistics, quotes, examples) in a
logical way to support your argument…A synthesis
is a result of an integration of what you heard/read
and your ability to use this learning to develop and
support a key thesis or argument” (Ask.Com).
