What is the Proficiency Award
Program about? (HO1)



Proficiency: Demonstrated competence
in a specific area
Proficiency Award: A
recognition of excellence
in the area of occupational or scientific
proficiency
Incentive: FFA provides the awards to
motivate the student through recognition
of accomplishment
Eligibility




Current, active FFA member
Applicant may have been out of high
school no more than one year
If graduated, applicant must have
completed 3 or more years of ag ed, or
all the ag at the last school attended
Have maintained records adequate to
substantiate the application
