FIRE SHAMAN
Fires in the forecourt area would have produced a spectacular natural shadow and light show. Shamans may
have used smoke and shadows to enter the barrow in spirit form / Focurile în curtea anterioară produceau
un spectacol natural de umbră şi lumină. Şamanii foloseau fum şi umbre pentru a intra în colină ca spirite.

Fire in the East chamber illuminating

flickering light makes the fossil remains
appear to move as if brought to life.

Stones with holes can be found in
the woodland to the east of the
barrow. Megaliths with holes are
located at the entrance to the East
chamber, perhaps to mimick this
aspect of the landscape.
