It was narrated that a woman went to
one of the Religious Experts and said
to him: My brother has passed away,
and left (600 hundred Derham, and
when they divided his money, they
gave me only (one Derham ).
The Religious Expert kept thinking for
few moments, then said to her: maybe
your brother had a wife and two
daughters and twelve brothers.

The women was amazed and said:
Yes, it is true what you have said.
Then the Expert said: So, the One
Derham is your right, and they were
not unjust to you. His wife should be
paid 1/8 of his money which is equal
(.75 Derham)an his daughters 1/3
which is equal to (400 hundred
Derham) and his mother 1/6 of the
money which is equal to (100 derham)

and (25 derham) is left to be distributed
among his 12 brothers and his sister.
The man is right is double the woman.
Therefore, each brother takes (2
Derhams) and one derham is left to you
(one Derham) only.
