Yuelu Academy:

Yuelu Academy is an ancient and famous
academy in China
It was established by Zhudong, in 976A.D
at the time of Northern Song Dynasty
The academy accepted disciplines
throughout the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing
It was only in 1903 that the academy was
transformed from a school of traditional
Confucian learning to an institute of higher
learning and in 1926 it was officially named
Hunan University

School in old history of China.

Authorized by the Academic Degree
Commission under the State Council, SHU is
among the first group of universities to confer
The majority of the Ph.D. programs and master's
degree programs are applicable to those who
are on-the-job and who have received
equivalent education, and the Ph.D. programs to
visiting scholars both at home and abroad and
to advanced refresher students.
According to the agreement from the State
Education Commission, colleges of all the
disciplines can enroll on-the-job candidates with
separate exam.
