Every year, on my birthday, I invite all my
friends to my house. We watch movies together
and we eat pizza and ice cream.
This year I am planning something else. I am
inviting all my friends for a trip to Jerusalem.
Now, I am writing the invitations. I hope they
will come.

Why is there more than
one present?
In Arabic, we have one way to express
actions in the present.
We don’t know from the verb if it is happening now
or it happens usually.
