Drawings - Designs and Specifications with any required Material compositions,
since last three decades and has been supplying in the market ever since and as
Original Equipments Manufacturer for past three decades to various private
and public sector organizations.

and Bearings since 1974.

Technology through team work, the organization that began by Manufacturing
precision Gun metal components in small unit, soon Mastered the nuances of
developing precision, accurate quality end products and is approved as vendor in
reputed private and public organizations

MANUFACTURING
SM Manufactures Bushes and Bearing with a great expertise and specific engineering
to make a compatible end product. SM have different facilities and maintains
required standards to produce quality end product. SM involves in specialized
engineering spares.
This is specifically for components which are not sourced easily, with low volumes
and are critical in nature. The company is now having more than 200 odd
components in stock.
FOUNDRY
The company has a Non-ferrous foundry consisting over 2000 patterns, & is
equipped with latest facility of Casting & furnaces capable of casting 2 MT per
day. SM is also capable of manufacturing Non-Ferrous Bushes in Gun Metal,
Leaded Bronze, Phosphorous Bronze, Tin Bronze and other Copper based alloys.
The Foundry is self sufficient since the alloys are being manufactured in house to
required standards and specifications.
MACHINE SHOP
The company has a state-of-the-art technology machine workshop includes various
machinery viz. CNC,VMC with 4th Axis Rotary Table, Lathe Machine, Slotting
Machines, Center less Grinders, Milling Machines, Lapping Machines, SPM’s,
Drilling Machines, Etc. With all the required jig’s and Fixtures developed
according to requirements.

SM maintains highest quality standards with regards to requirement of different
parameters for different components. This is assisted by full-fledged facilities
available at plant.

Inspection
Stringent standards for acceptance of raw materials lead to perfect quality circle,
emphasizing not only flawless products but improvement through various
innovative moves. Quality functions, analysis and statistics are performed as per
the product needs and can be compared to international System/Standards.
Casting
The company is fully equipped with in house Wet Analysis Lab and Spectrometer
with every required chemicals and instruments for analysis of different nonferrous alloys the company provides guaranteed chemical analysis of ferrous and
non-ferrous metals as per IS, BS & ASTM

The company is fully equipped with Inspection room with highly precise testing
instruments viz. CMM,Digital Vernier, Digital Micro Meter, Go-Nogo gauges,
Digital Bore gauge, Digital Dial gauge, Hardness Tester, Surface Roughness,&

In-House Vacuum Impregnation Plant
Basically in Casting process, there is bound to be micro porosity. Even after through process control,
One cannot eliminate the problem of porosity in casting, To eliminate leakages in critical parts like
valves, Strainer, Housing, etc. SM install In-House Vacuum Impregnation Plant.
Die Penetration Test (DP Test)
Liquid penetrate testing is a non-destructive method used to detect surface breaking defects in any
nonporous material. Liquid penetrate is applied to the surface and is drawn into defects by capillary
action. Once a preset dwell time has passed, excess penetrate is removed and developer applied to
draw out penetrate from defects. Visual inspection is then performed. Visible and Fluorescent Liquid
Penetrate Examinations are Non-Destructive methods of revealing discontinuities that are open to the
surfaces of solid and essentially non-porous materials, ferrous or non-ferrous.
