Acme Packet is one of the few companies which manufactures Session
Border Controllers in the market today.
There is a huge demand for these systems in the market today (And we
configured one!! Score!!)
The SBC can also be configured to do a lot many more things than
shown in this presentation.(which we couldn’t do due to time and
knowledge constraints!!)
The SBC can do media transcoding, NAT Traversal, IPv4 to IPv6
internetworking, VPN Connectivity, blah blah blah…
It can also provide regulatory functions like emergency call
prioritization and lawful interception (WOW!!)
