Surah Al-Anbiya:

Every soul must taste of death, and We try you with evil and with good, for ordeal. And unto Us ye will be returned.

(35) The Prophet (SAW) once visited a cemetery, sat beside a grave and cried a lot. Then he addressed the Companions and said: "Brothers, prepare for this day." (Sunan Ibn Majah) On another occasion, he (SAW)said: "Visiting the graves, softens the hearts, brings tears to the eyes and reminds you of the Hereafter."(Mustadarak Al -Hakim)

ABODE OF MERCY As part of our organised efforts to realise the vision of this project, MPAC team searched for the best models in the development of exclusive Muslim cemetery and chose the Garden of Peace Muslim Cemetery in the UK as a model to utilise.

In 2008, our team went on a tour of the GOP facility and met with the facility’s Trustees with whom we continue to engage for technical supports in actualising our ambition to develop a similar facility in Nigeria.
