Overdrive, Inc.
 An affordable way for public libraries to offer digital content to
their members
 Consortium membership is for public libraries in Northeast
Texas with populations up to 100,000
 Annual participation fee based on population served: $1,500 -
$9,000

 eBooks & audio books can be checked out 24 hours a day
from any location with Internet access
 Never have an overdue or lost book (therefore never have
to pay a fine)
 Compatible with many different devices by downloading
free applications
 Ability to put books on a personal waiting list
 Fiction & nonfiction books for adults, children, and teenagers
Who, How Many, How Long, and
Where?
 A Prosper Community Library card is required with
no outstanding fees, overdue or lost material.
 A maximum of 5 books per card may be checked
out.
 Books are checked out for 2 weeks (14 days).
 There are approximately 5,000 books in the
Consortium collection
