Overview
The PM421P5 and PM422P5 Pillow Speaker Intercom Modules provide
SF41ZDL/ZKL pillow speakers with nurse call intercom, plus on/off control of
two lamp sources, generally one room lamp and one reading lamp. The
PM421P5 is designed to plug into IR411P5 Single Patient Stations and the
PM422P5 is designed to plug into IR412P5. If desired, standard SF401A Call
Cords may be used without removing the modules.

Overview

Features
Corridor lights provide visual indication from IR400P5 series stations and
associated peripheral devices. Multicolor LEDs allow the devices to indicate
all system call types with various flash rates and color combinations. When
connected to an IR415P5 Duty Station, the corridor light functions as a Zone
light. Locate the corridor light above or beside the doorway of its associated
room, and mount it so that unobstructed visibility is provided. When used as
zone lights, mount them at corridor heads or junctions so that facility staff can
readily identify the associated zone area. The lights must be within 50 cablefeet of associated duty stations.

Overview
Zone lights are configured in the field by plugging a PM484ZP5 Zone light
module onto a LI484P5 Dome light. Zone lights are stand alone devices
and can be configured to annunciate calls by zone. Secondarily, the Zone
light supports one Bath and one Code input and can be used to when a
standalone switch is desired.

The SF401EX Strain Relief Cable is used to
increase the life span of call cords, pillow
speakers and room stations. The cable is
placed between the call cord or pillow speaker
and the room station. If the call cord or pillow
speaker is attached to a bed and then the bed is
pulled away, the strain relief cable disconnects. This
prevents damage to both the room station and the call
cord or pillow speaker.

The LS452 software receives patient information
from the facility’s Admit, Discharge, Transfer system
via the facility’s network. Patient name, room/bed
number and doctor name are then displayed on
NC402TS Touchscreen Nurse Master Stations.
Programming is quickly done via the config tool.
With this software release, accessing a facility’s Hospital Information
System maintains a focus on patient census information for use in nursecall-related activities and on patient and bed data for bed management.
Not only does this interface support efficient patient care by providing
detailed patient information, but administration will benefit from monitoring
and reporting features to ensure the facility is operating at an optimal level.

Media Gateway — VoIP Phone Interface
The NC465 Media Gateway adds VoIP integration to the Tek-CARE®400
system. The media gateway provides call and event notifications to facility
VoIP extensions and delivers pertinent information on the telephone
display. The NC465 also provides two-way voice communication between
patient room stations and facility VoIP extensions.
