• Common Assessments in German, French, Spanish
and Latin: Level 1 assessments were administered in
June 2010. Level 2 assessments were field tested in
June 2010 and revised. Levels 1 and 2 will be ready to

• VAAP will include a writing component for grades 5, 8,
and 11.
• VGLA-IEP teams must continue rigorous scrutiny of
multiple choice and alternate format work samples to
justify use of VGLA. Work samples must be retained
with IEP in student file.
• VMAST will be field tested in 2010-2011 and available
for mathematics grades 3-8 and Algebra 1 in 20112012.
• All assessments will incorporate 2008 Social Studies
standards.

• Common Assessments in German, French,
Spanish and Latin: Level 1 assessments were
completed and administered in June 2010. Level
2 assessments were field tested in June 2010 and
revised. Levels 1 and 2 will be ready to administer
