Can you see all of the flowers in O’Keeffe’s work? Do all of the images look like flowers or could they be something else? How is this work different from the floral paintings you are used to viewing? How are they similar? How are they different? Would you do your work the same or differently? Examples of Landscape Painting in Microsoft Paintbrush Creating a Landscape in Microsoft Paintbrush Go to start menu. Click on Accessories Go to Paint, Click on Paint to open up Paint program. See screen image next slide. Paint program is highlighted. Image of screen and start menu Directions Tools are to the left side of the screen. Chose the one you want by clicking on that tool. Try the tools out. See what each one does by clicking on it. When you are finished close that piece and do not save the changes. Next slide has image of tools. Image of tools Steps Continued Draw the rest of the landscape with the pencil tool. To add color select brush, bucket, or spray paint can. Select the color at the bottom of the screen you want to fill in your areas with. You can switch each section by selecting a new color. Steps Continued Bucket will paint large areas with color. Brush will fill in smaller areas and look more like actual coloring. Spray paint can will look more like spray paint. This may blur some of your lines. This will be incorporated into your final project and assembled with your flower drawing or painting.
