A new interactive data entry facility for inventory control Supports multiple simultaneous batches of transactions – One user per batch at a time Batches support all existing DMAS inventory control transaction types 2

A batch may be allocated to inventory or not allocated – An allocated batch has a status of “ Active ” – A non-allocated batch has a status of “ Suspended ” The user may change the status of a batch by pressing a function key (change the entire contents of a batch from “allocated” to “un-allocated” and visa versa) 3

When creating a batch, the user may – Protect the batch from change by other users – Limit transactions to only warehouses owned by a specific company – Indicate a default warehouse to be used for each transaction entered – Protect the default warehouse field from being changed by the transaction entry user 4

A new batch may be created by copying an existing batch (may copy posted, suspended and active batches) The user may exit a batch and re-enter it at a later time An entire batch may be deleted prior to posting (must have a “suspended” status) Each batch is posted independent from other batches 5
