By 2010 all schools in Namibia should have
access to computer, Internet and email facility.

UNAM was established in 1992
First decade was characterised by the :





setting up of the infrastructure;
design and establishment of the faculty;
expansion of undergraduate programmes.
This was also a period of laying out
administrative structures and policies.
Extensive links were also initiated in this
period.

Achievements to date:
 Design and establishment of managerial,
administrative and physical infrastructure.




Design and establishment of academic
structures and programmes.
Programmes offered increased from about 20 in
1992 to 82 in 2004.
Most of the policies and procedures are in place.
UNAM has presence in all regions of the country
consisting of 4 campuses, 8 Centres and one

campus in the making.
