• Steer – smaller and not so aggressive—a male
that cannot produce babies

Ride a wild horse for 8 seconds using only one hand

Men dressed to distract the bulls; they protect cowboys
when they fall off the bulls
They wear loose, baggy clothing in bright colors with many
scarves hanging from their pants.

Barrel Racing
Gallop a horse around 3 barrels without knocking the
barrels down or the horse falling down
The horse and cowgirl follow the pattern on
the right, running as fast as the horse can go.
Goat Tying
1) Chase a goat
(this involves jumping
off the horse)
3) Tie up the goat
2) Catch the goat
Calf Roping
Chase a calf and lasso it while riding a galloping horse,
then jump off and tie up the calf
Bulldogging
Chase a steer with a horse, jump off the horse, grab the
steer’s horns, and knock it down—be careful of the horns!!!
