IL as part of lifelong learning offer:
o IL will be created as one of the modules in the LLL offer, through the LLL
center at the University
o Creation of on-line IL course with wide access to general public
o The University Library will have the dominant role in the implementation of
the module if it is organized as the free module (no need for accreditation), if
it would be offered as a structured module (accreditation needed according
to the national legislation), then the University academic staff will also be
involved
o Necessary users’ qualification will be discussed once the course is
completed
Accreditation and recognition
oThe other possibility for recognition and accreditation of IL course is provided
through the overall system for the prevention of plagiarism which will involve
implementation of software as well as few levels of control. In that sense the lL
would be of utmost importance
oThe future objective is to make the IL course certificate obligatory for the
postgraduate level of studies
Approving IL programs at the highest level
o As part of prevention of plagiarism, University highest bodies will be in charge
of formally regulating the introduction of IL course certificate as the necessary
supplement at postgraduate studies
o After the documents that regulate introducing LLL are adopted by the
University and state bodies, the IL course will be embedded into offer of
different modules
o The IL project team at the University (consisted of Vice-rector, Director of
Centre for Information System and Director of University Library) is strongly
committed to implementation of project activities and formal approvement of IL
course at the University’s highest level of decision making
