Updating Metadata Best Practices
Provide guidance on the use of ONIX for digital
products, both for existing core data elements
and digital-only elements such as DRM/Usage
Constraints
 Include examples of ONIX 3.0, especially in
places where 3.0 diverges markedly from ONIX
2.1, such as with Sets and Series.
 Add sections to enable enhanced support for
marketing elements, such as Major Awards &
Prizes and Author/Contributor Biography.
