ADT problems at UniMelb

  2000 original participants 2003 technical problems – ADT dedicated server broke down – Insufficient technical support – Original software, hackers resulting in duplicates – Upload/Submission problems – Submission spelling mistakes could not be corrected.

 UniM ADT group  UNSW help – Technical advice, support – UM ADT thesis housed on UNSW server temporarily – Install new software – Setting up directories – Cleaned up 3.5 gig records 21

Moving ADT theses to Eprints

 Growth of Eprints theses led us to investigate alternatives  ID Exec decision was to move all ADT theses to Eprints  UTas software released 23
