the following screen shows, one click of
the mouse provides a complete record of all
movements of each packet. A major benefit

the derivation of that packet.

through all stages; real time inquiries and
reporting of what has been received, what is
still in inventory and what has been
shipped. The system provides methods for
costing and valuing inventory, from month
end market values to process by process
costing.

The link with the enterprise accounting
system is achieved by electronic invoice
data transfer from the TimberSmart system.

packages including Charter, Intersoft,
Accpac, CBA, Composer, and NZAGold.

can also be
provided as an integrated solution with an
accounting package, for those requiring
complete integration.
Production Reporting
Analyses
and reports production by process,
and operation, for any date range, by shift,
by run. Analyses outturns and production
figures.

details of contract work to be paid

A process is a subset of an
operation. Each process is defined
by a code which can hold the
changes this process will make to
the product code. It also defines
whether this process creates or
disposes of timber.

Enter Order details and print or fax confirmations. Automatic calculation of prices

Custom Processing Order Entry
A custom processing order defines each process the timber will pass through. By entering price
the process will be charged on completion.
Support
An information system is useful only if it is
operative.
To ensure that TimberSmart remains available
to Users, TimberSmart has a comprehensive
support facility offering telephone, remote and
if necessary, on-site support.
Also, included as part of the annual Support
contract is periodic release upgrades to system
functionality.
Training
•Comprehensive training in relevant skills is
provided to Department Managers, and
System Administrators at the time of system
implementation.
•In addition, periodic courses are held to
provide refresher training, or to include
specialist subjects such as Advanced Excel
