Health and Kinesiology continued…

Potential Careers:

– KINE (PEK option) teaching and athletic training – KINE (AEP option) cardiac rehabilitation, corporate or private fitness – KINE (CHO option) health/patient education in government or private health agency, clinical setting, non-profit organization – SPMT (SPI or SPN option) sport marketing and promotion, event management, facility management – KINE (DSC option) graduates have the tools to teach, choreograph and direct in high schools, private studios, performance groups, and dance/drill teams.

Grad School Opportunities:

– KINE (BEP) students can get prerequisites for medical school – KINE (MTB) students can get prerequisites for physical therapy school, physician assistant or dental school – HLTH (AHO) students can get the prerequisites for physical therapy, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, optometry, and physician assistant GPR required for change of major: 2.5 GPR for all majors except Sport Management which requires a 2.0 GPR GPR required to remain in good standing: 2.5 GPR for all majors except Sport Management which requires a 2.0 GPR Procedure/timeline to change major: Varies per program.
