Throughout the years that I have been in the paint and colour industry, one thing’s certain: change. As culture changes, new
evolving; hence, when we talk about colours, palettes also move with the waves of change. This is the foundation of Trend
2015/2016. With this, Nippon Paint truly appreciates the forecast results that were recently revealed at the Nippon Paint
Colour Chromazome Workshop, an event which beautifully ‘delivered’ the birth of a series of wonderful Asian colour palettes
by Asian professionals.
Containing nine key trend palettes, Trend Beyond Colours arises from three themes; “Sacred Love”, “Just Me”, and
“Revo-Evolution”, all of which are translated into unique decorative coatings for the Asia market. Each colour is derived
carefully from the way we live, breathe fashion, while creating awareness that colours go far beyond designer collections
Our passion for colours constantly propels us on to the newest ideas, while our collective experience gives us a guiding
instinct for what consumers love. And as trends emerge throughout the season, we believe colours will gain more

Under the guidance of four esteemed colour enthusiasts – Mark Woodman, Immediate Past
President of Color Marketing Group; Jane Stockel, Special Envoy to the CMG President
of Renolit, and Serene Pang, Sales and Marketing director of The Duha Group and colour
consultant to Nippon Paint Malaysia, participants were able to come up with the most
relevant colour stories that would be part of Nippon Paint’s colour forecast for 2015/16.

Jane Stockel, who spoke about Public and Private Green Spaces for Urban Living. Finally,
colour trends for 2015/16.
