Summary
This product bulletin is to inform customers of the following important lifecycle dates:
Affected TOS versions: 3.2.x
End of Engineering: September 3rd, 2014
End of Support: September 2nd, 2015
Customers with active maintenance contracts will continue to receive support from HP TippingPoint’s
Technical Assistance Center (TAC), but are recommended to upgrade to a newer version of TOS.

Product Migration Options
HP TippingPoint recommends that customers qualify and install the most current TOS software
version, which at the time of this product bulletin is TOS 3.6.3 for S10, S110 & S330 and TOS 3.7.1 for
N-Platform of Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) devices
Customers with active support contracts may download current software releases from the HP
TippingPoint Threat Management Center (TMC). For additional information, please contact your HP

HP TippingPoint Product Lifecycle Definitions
End of Life Announcement
The End-of-Life (EOL) announcement date signifies the end of sale of a product which is distributed to
the general public and beginning of the EOL process to retire a product.
End-of-Engineering
The End-of-Engineering (EOE) date is the end of the period during which HP TippingPoint will support
software releases with maintenance releases, bug fixes, workarounds, or patches for critical bugs.
When software reaches the EOE date, it will no longer be actively maintained by the Engineering team.
End-of-Support
Technical Support is provided by the HP TippingPoint Technical Support group. Support will be
provided for hardware products for at least three years after the End of Sale date. During this period,
Technical Support will provide phone and email support, will communicate bug fix requirements to
engineering before EOE, and will attempt to provide workarounds beyond the EOE period. For
software releases, technical support will be provided for one year after the EOE date.
