PANCAKES
INGREDIENTS FOR PANCAKES:
¾ C.
Whole wheat flour
¾ C.
White flour
3 T.
Sugar
1 ½ t.
Baking powder
¾ t.
Baking soda
½ t.
Salt
2
Eggs
1 t.
Vanilla Extract
1 ¼ C.
Buttermilk Substitute (1 ¼ c. milk & 1 t.
Lemon Juice – let it stand for 5 minutes)
• ¼ C.
Water
• 3 T.
Vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS:
(YOU SEQUENCE BASED ON DEMONSTRATION)
Add the liquid to the flour mixture and stir until blended.
Mixture should be lumpy.
Beat the egg, milk, water, vanilla extract and oil together in
a large bowl.
Pour the batter onto a lightly greased skillet.
Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and
salt.
Turn when pancake bubbles, on the surface.
Brown and enjoy, serve with syrup.
