Lockers
-All 9th grade students have their own locker,
no sharing
-Recommendations- Store school
supplies(books, pens, pencils, notebooks,
etc.) lunch, coats in the locker
-Do not bring valuables, give combination to
another student, allow another student to
use their locker
- See an adult immediately to report a locker
problem (combination not working,
jammed, etc.)
Building Security
• School doors will be locked down 5 minutes
after tardy bell at 8:01 am.
• Students should enter the building through
the Commons area entrance, at the student
parking lot area.
• If you need to pick up your son or daughter,
you will use the same entrance.
• We have surveillance cameras located
throughout the building.
Traffic
• Busy times- 7:40 am to 8:00 am, 2:45 pm to
3:15 pm. 13 Mile is congested.
• Recommended that you drop your
son/daughter off well ahead of the busy time,
building is open at 7 am for student arrival.
• Use the pick-up/drop-off area located outside
the auditorium.

Eligibility- Athletics
• MHSAA regulation- Credit in 66% of class loadpassing 4 out of 5 at LSHS
• LSPS policy- minimum 2.0 GPA- immediately
eligible
• 1.5-1.99- Probationary status- minimum 2
weeks ineligibility. Must raise GPA by .5 to
regain eligibility.
• 9th graders are immediately eligible

– 90+ 11th grade exchange students this year
– Host families needed! (Thanksgiving, Mid-Winter
Break, and Memorial Day weekends)

weeks
