MARK 1: 16-18
As Jesus walked beside the Sea of
Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother
Andrew casting a net into the lake, for
they were fishermen.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said,
“and I will make you fishers of men.”
At once they left their nets and
followed him.
Mark 1: 16-18 (NIV)
Then Jesus came to them and said,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has
been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-10 (NIV)

Outreach (or evangelism) =
demonstrating God’s love to the
world.
As Jesus walked beside the Sea of
Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother
Andrew casting a net into the lake, for
they were fishermen.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said,
“and I will make you fishers of men.”
At once they left their nets and
followed him.
Mark 1: 16-18 (NIV)
Two Very Important Questions
1. Do I actually believe that knowing Jesus
can radically change a person’s life?
2. Do I actually believe that MY relatives,
friends, neighbors, etc. would be better off
if they had a relationship with Jesus?
Then Jesus came to them and said,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has
been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-10 (NIV)
I.
See the people
who need God.
U1 = 10%
(most receptive)
U2 = 27%
U3 = 36%
U4 = 21%
U5 = 5%
(totally hostile)
95% of the people that
you meet will be open to
hearing about Jesus
FROM YOU!
II.
Seek the people
who are without God.
You are in the ministry of
fishing for people who do
not yet know Jesus,
whether you are a preacher
or not!
III.
Share with people
so they can know God.
“Your Story” should include:
1. What my life was like BEFORE I met Jesus;
2. How I realized I needed Jesus.
3. How I surrendered my life to Jesus.
4. The DIFFERENCE Jesus has made in my life.
The Benediction
When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At the end of the storm is a
golden sky
And the sweet, silver song of a
lark.
The Benediction
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed
and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in
your heart
And you’ll never walk alone! ©
The Benediction
May God shower you with His love,
Cover you with the blood of Jesus,
And empower you with the anointing of
the Holy Spirit
That you may go forward and make
a permanent, positive impact upon our
world!
