To be sent out to do
something..
What do you think the
Apostles were sent out to
do, and why?

-Proclaim this message: The kingdom of heaven is here.’
(God’s power is here & now)
-Heal the sick,
-raise the dead,
-cure those with leprosy,
-drive out demons.
**What do you think is the
most important part of your
mission? Why?
**What is the message the
Apostles are supposed to
preach? What does it mean ?

• Use Matthew 28:16-20 to write a 3 point job
description, that tells them what their task is
With your partner:

“The one who believes and is baptized
will be saved”
• Believes
Using the question words
what, why , how, who
• Is baptised
• saved
make up 2 questions for
your partner, about each
word in blue.
Eg “who should believe it?”
What, why, how
• What should you believe ?
• Why should you believe it?
The Good News that Jesus is the Son
of God, who saved us from sin and
death, to give us eternal life.
• How should you be baptised?
The miracles of healing prove
it’s true (curing the sick, raising
the dead)
• Why should you be baptised?
With water, in the Name of the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
• What does being saved mean?
• How can you be saved ?
SO you can be saved
To share in the eternal life with
Jesus, free from sin and death
By being baptised and
believing in Jesus
BE THE TEACHER: two teams, one
“teacher” for each team – see if you can
answer the questions of the opposite
team. ONE point for every question
answered correctly.
