FAMILY ‘FUN’DAMENTALS
Program Objective:
To replicate the back garden environment in which most young players i.e.
those aged 4 are introduced to Soccer around the globe.
Program Philosophy:
By creating a flexible, fun filled soccer environment that is "pressure" free.
The youngsters will be introduced to some fundamental Soccer skills. These
skills will be introduced and taught by a MASTER coach and parent
volunteers. Each player will be lead rather than pushed into the world of
Soccer. If a player gets to tired it is okay to sit down or even go pick the
daisies!
Program Logistics:
One or two master coaches will lead each practice. These two coaches will
introduce a game or a skill which the child and parent then go away and
practice together. After a suitable amount of time has passed the head
coaches bring the players and parents back together and the next game or skill
is shown. As the weeks and the program develops more developmental games
are introduced.
MINI - ACES
Program Objective:
To develop the Individual player’s basic Physical and Technical capabilities.
Program Philosophy:
Through a range of basic, fun exercises and drills, the players will be
‘challenged’ to develop the foundation for successful development.
Program Logistics:
Head Coach will lead, instruct and guide all players through the various
exercises and drills. Each session will be progressive and focused on
Individual ball-work and physical skill development.
INTERLOCK

Program Objective:
To offer the U10 age group, a progressive, training and games program.
Run in conjunction with Abbotsford Soccer Association.

Program Philosophy:
To enhance the players Individual technical and physical skills and to
introduce some basic tactical understanding.

Program Logistics:
Registered players are divided into teams (co-ed) according to
demonstrated skills. These ‘teams’ have an appointed coach, who
coordinates one training session and a game per week. All players/teams
attend another training session, per week, with Club Head Coach.
ACES
Attitude–Commitment–Enthusiasm-Skill
Program Objective:
To offer exposure to the Elite levels of the game, through participation in
games, Tournament play and/or Professional Club visits.
Program Philosophy:
To allow individual players to further develop their skills and knowledge of the
game, in a structured and competitive atmosphere. To enhance the Technical
and Tactical components of the player’s game through extensive on and off
field training and education.
Program Logistics:
U11/12 boys & girls, U13/14 boys & girls, U15+ boys & girls.
Within each of the three age groups there is a maximum of 45 players, which
are divided into three tiers, according to their ability. (Prem, Int, Dev.) Should
players be failing in any aspect of the ACES criteria, then movement between
the tiers is likely to occur. Similarly, should a player improve his/her
performance, then again, movement to the next tier is possible. Through the
application of this fluidity, it is envisaged that a high level of personal
achievement can be reached, by every player!
G’K’ ACADEMY
Program Objective:
To offer position specific Coaching & Training.
Program Philosophy:
To help, guide and educate the player/s in the ‘art’ of
goal-keeping.
Program Logistics:
Players will be placed within their respective age group.
(U10-13 or U14+) The younger age group will train
for 1hr, the older age group for 1.5hrs.
