learn from the experience of others

What has been done so far?
• Local Governance and Decentralization Sub-regional
action plans based on member surveys, website,
workshop on accessing EU funds etc.
• Human Rights and Justice Works with a network of
Ombudsman institutions in the region, website,
upcoming training on human-rights-based approach to
development programming.
• ICTD Focal points have started to work together.
• Public Administration Reform and Anti-Corruption A
priority area for UNDP in the region. The work on setting
up a PAR-AC CoP was initiated in late 2004 with a
members’ survey.
What has been done so far?

Gender – An active group of focal points has
been working together for over 2 years
