You receive an approval notification.
A unique partner ID is assigned to your company.
A welcome Kit is distributed to you by e-mail with information on:

Partner Benefits & Trainings.
VMware Products.
Benefits & Portal access is activated.
Partner Next Steps
Become familiar with Partner Central.
Achieve VSP training and become VIP Professional+
Partner.
Login to Partner Central.
Click on Training tab  VMware Sales Professional (VSP).
Order Not for Resale (NFR) Products.
Login to Partner Central.
Click on Sales tab.
Click on Complimentary NFR License FormThe destination
template will automatically apply to the added slides.
Partner Application - Enterprise Status.
Entry Requirement: Professional(+) Partner status.
Enrollment to Enterprise track at Partner Central – Tab
Programs.
Pass VCP certification.
Pass 2 x VSP certification.
The Partner Central Primary Contact will receive a proforma
invoice for the Enterprise Partner Membership fee.
As soon as payment of Enterprise Partnership fee is received
and validated by VMware Partner reveices Enterprise Partner
status.

VMware Partner Education – VSP & VCP .
VSP (VMware Sales Professional)
The VMware Sales Professional (VSP) program is an online, self paced
curriculum that has been broken down into an accreditation for each of
VMware’s four main solution areas. The first accreditation can be completed in
about 5-7 hours and each subsequent accreditation requires about 1-2 hours.
VSP certification is necessary for VMware VIP Professional+ and Enterprise status.

VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
The VMware Certified Professional Program is designed for any technical
individual -- partners, end-users, resellers, and consultants - who wants to
demonstrate their expertise in virtual infrastructure and increase his potential for
career advancement.
VCP certification is necessary for VMware VIP Enterprise status.
Please note that participation in a VMware authorized training class is REQUIRED
for VCP certification.
