● State Council relies upon this money for their charities .
● Special Olympics
● Requests
Why not keep in our council – give to our Bishop?
•By giving to State, we are giving to our diocese.
•30% is allocated to State for selected charities.
•70% is returned to Bishop for “his” designated charities.

Special Olympics Provides
Special Olympics Texas provides year-round
opportunities for more than 40,000 children and
adults with intellectual disabilities to participate in
sports and gain the confidence to achieve their
goals.
 21 sports (14 in the Greater Houston area).
 More than 240 competitions annually.
