Special Populations Job Description Shannon Baker, Consultant Special Populations, Civil Rights, Equity NCDPI Objectives • Overview of job description; • Identify the special population students; • Establish relationships with CTE & school staff; • Licensure requirements. Job Description Objectives • Review the major functions of special populations coordination; • Discuss the laws related to those functions; • Identify the roles of specific CTE department members as it relates to special populations. Job Description • Outreach & recruitment • Assessment & prescription • Coordination with other service providers • Monitoring access, progress, & success • Annual accountability & planning.
