• End of Adam’s record – Gen. 5:1
• Noah’s Summary – Gen. 5:2
• Tracing the Seed of Promise
For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like
the days of Noah. For as in those days before
the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying
and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah
entered the ark, and they did not understand
until the flood came and took them all away; so
will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- Matt. 24:37-39
Now it came about, when men began to
multiply on the face of the land, and
daughters were born to them, that the sons
of God saw that the daughters of men were
beautiful; and they took wives for
themselves, whomever they chose.
- Gen. 6:1-2
Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive
with man forever, because he also is flesh;
nevertheless his days shall be one hundred
and twenty years.”
- Gen. 6:3
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days,
and also afterward, when the sons of God came
in to the daughters of men, and they bore
children to them. Those were the mighty men
who were of old, men of renown.
- Gen. 6:4

3. Demonic forces possess the
descendants of Cain and produce
wicked offspring.
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man
was great on the earth, and that every intent of
the thoughts of his heart was only evil
continually. The Lord was sorry that He had
made man on the earth, and He was grieved in
His heart.
- Gen. 6:5-6
Condition of the Antediluvian World
Preoccupation with physical appetites
And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will
be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were
eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they
were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah
entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed
them all. (Lk. 7:26-27)

Satanic Activity in the physical world.

Condition of the Antediluvian World
General disbelief
By faith Noah, being warned by God about things
not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the
salvation of his household, by which he condemned
the world, and became an heir of the righteousness
which is according to faith. - Heb. 11:7
Condition of the Antediluvian World
Ungodly behavior
It was also about these men that Enoch, in the seventh
generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the
Lord came with [p]many thousands of His holy ones, to
execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly
of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an
ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly
sinners have spoken against Him.” - Jude 14-15
Condition of the Antediluvian World
Widespread violence
Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the
earth was filled with violence. God looked on the earth,
and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted
their way upon the earth. Then God said to Noah, “The
end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is
filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am
about to destroy them with the earth. - Gen. 6:11-13
The Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have
created from the face of the land, from man to
animals to creeping things and to birds of the
sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.”
- Gen. 6:7
But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.
