He has to his credit more than 60 years of experience in the Shipping Industry. It is with his dedicated effort, unflinching support and guidance that this GROUP has carved a Special Name for itself in the Shipping Industry. Besides being a Successful Entrepreneur he is also a well-known philanthropist. The Eye Research Centre, Chennai, founded by him in 1978, gives total Eye Care to the economically weaker sections of the Society. He supports medical education and technology transfer by sponsoring biennial endowment lectures in Surgery by distinguished professionals and sponsors public health education campaigns such as Diabetes and GUT 2000.
